Hope you like it, folks! Do share your hiking experiences. :)

Xtreme

This is one thing I have been wanting to try - Action/ extreme/ adventure sports!!!  Although a ride in the giant wheel in the smallest theme park in town can make me nauseous, I really want to try out extreme sports, just for the thrill of it! :) I wish trekking and river crossing counted as adventure sports :P :D I have done that a lot! :D I am imagining being Bear Grylls's guest in one of his 'running wild' shows. The open-door helicopter ride, jumping off it in a jiffy (with a lot of harness on, of course), mountain climbing, rappelling, zip lining, bungee jumping, Feeling that adrenaline rush, feeling that fear kick inside you, whoa! just out of the world!  Oh yea baby! Pic source - Google images But, if you ask me if I'd do any of these if I get an opportunity, well, I would definitely get out of my comfort zone but I'd think twice :D Source - Google images Do you like living in the edge?  Have you ever tried extreme sports? Please share you...

Of Misty Mountains and Ghee Dosas

The monsoon makes me want to write poetry, but poetry doesn’t come so easy to a compulsive thinker as me. When I see the rain, I think about the mist clad mountains, I remember Hobbit’s “Far over, the misty mountains cold, dungeons deep and caverns old” and it echoes in similar macho voices in my mind. It is a tad spooky, don’t you reckon?   Rains lashing, cats and dogs pouring down, I sit inside the car and muse how the clouds swell up and how rain pours down. Magic!    I will not stop at anything. I will not stop at anything but food. Those are the words that keep me going when we are driving from the North to the Southern part of Kerala. A beautiful retreat of a journey it is, lovely landscape and welcoming backwaters. With my nose struck to the glass window of the car, I see a motion picture unwind in front of me. I see goats, cows, dogs and sheep, I even see snakes. I dwell in the comfort of being the pillion rider and never miss a chance to look out...
