It was a time a new passion for baking blossomed, when I tried making a multi-layered fresh cream pastry cake for the very first time. I called it Fruity Punch pastry cake and I made it for my husband's birthday! :) First layer - Orange, second - Pineapple and the top one with the star shape is lychee flavoured. I had pieces of fruits layered in them to give it an extra punch and soaked the sponge with all three fruit syrups. May be I just got lucky at my first try but I feel so proud of myself! :) :) Do you like pastries? Have you tried baking cakes? Do share your experiences with me!
