Peacock and Pride


We always attribute Peacock to beauty, grace and joy. I got lucky one day when I saw the flight of a peacock for the first time and all I saw was sheer pride. That was when I realized how true the idiom "as Proud as a Peacock" is! :D I felt exuberant and as I had my point and shoot camera along with me (lucky again! Yayyyy!!!), I clicked the following pictures! :) 

 That divine feeling when I saw the peacock fly, it was amazing!

    I have seen a peacock fly but at low heights. Amazing captures, both of them!

    The pics are too good. I have also seen a peacock fly, but only from one branch to another!

This morning, I got a good dose of philosophy from the newspaper. It isn’t very often that you get to read unique articles and this particular one definitely made my Friday morning a thoughtful one. Pause. Rewind. Play.

This post is a part of   Write Over the Weekend , an initiative for   Indian Bloggers   by BlogAdda. I do not usually write a post as personal as this but I  couldn't  stop myself; got to give it to blogadda’s ‘Back in time’ for that.
