This morning, I got a good dose of philosophy from the newspaper. It isn’t very often that you get to read unique articles and this particular one definitely made my Friday morning a thoughtful one. It was the ‘World View’ column with the title “Pencil Erasers may be the ‘devil’” that caught my attention. It got me thinking about the process of unlearning taught to us at school. A lot of questions popped up. Why do we hide our mistakes? Why isn’t it okay to make mistakes? Why are we taught to make up for a mistake? DeleteOn a lighter note, forest is nature's biggest bed! ;) :D
I was out hiking today! It's wonderful to try out new places and connect with nature.

Weekends In Maine
The last hike I did was the first I've done in a while. I walk frequently, but that's different. For our anniversary (Feb 14) we did a day trip to several waterfalls in the South Carolina upstate. Several required hikes, from a few hundred yards to a mountain goat climb. I really need to up my hiking game - it's been too long! We really got a taste for it and remembered why we used to enjoy it so. Hoping to head up to Table Rock later this spring and hit their 3.5 mile trail to the summit.
