The Boomerang - [Photo Blog] Of walk-talks, rail-trails and fly-highs

Here is the recap of our trip to Katoomba, the blue mountains, NSW

A walk to remember

Scenic walkway, cable car ride and scenic railway in pictures for you. Please click on the pictures to zoom in

Lilli Pilli link?! The walk was as crazy as the name itself

With stealthy footsteps we started walking...

Randomness

A hide out point, I just loved sitting and relaxing in this cool cave

A lovely stream sneaking out from the rocks

I heard something...Rats or rattle snakes, I have no clue!

The cracks and gaps that made our journey mysteriously wonderful

Steep stairs

Not so steep stairs ;)

A great view when we neared the end of the walkway

Mary o Mary! :)

Breathtaking

That exciting moment when you know you are going to ride on this very thing!!

Excitement reaches its peak

It turns into nervousness

Nail biting moments

Stomach full of butterflies

And there you go! We hopped in, a picture taken from inside the cable car

After a splendid ride above the mountains, we reached here

Some good music and peace for refreshments

A view from inside the shades

The Rail journey begins... chikku bukku :)

Funicular railway - The steepest I have ever seen

It was quite scary from here

Walking back after the thrilling rail adventure

In search of that perfect view

No, not this, a better one perhaps?

This is it!!!

The perfect view of the Blue Mountains paradise

Thank you for this experience, Sydney!

So Long,
Ever Yours

Okay, I understand that's funny but here is why:

If you are a girl or a boy or a boy who looks like a girl, you would probably know that it is a thing now to have a makeup blog or vlog or youtube channel in your name. I bumped into this world of cosmetics, beauty blogs and tutorials only a few months ago. For those who don't know about it, let me tell you, it is a crazy, ruthless and unbelievable world.

Heard of these? Snail slime masks, Placenta hair masks, Seaweed bathing creams, Microblading.... and endless other such insane stuff. These are insane but quite popular among beauty enthusiasts and they even swear by the benefits of such products.

These are otherwise cringe-worthy products in my world. I use gramflour+tumeric face mask, Coconut oil hair mask and  a normal, cheap bathing soap and my skin i…

Memories of...#26DaysOfSummer #A-ZChallenge

I don't know if this one counts for a poem. My rhyming sense failed miserably as emotion took over. A stinging emotion called nostalgia. A nostalgia which is synonymous to summer itself and a lot of other sweet things.

Here goes:

What is your favorite mango memory? share it with me here, won't you? :)

He could see her directly ahead through the shimmering blue glass window of Cafe Hafooda in Saket. The afternoon sun streamed along from the western side, casting long shadows across the table. Cyrus glanced up at Jennifer and then down at his mobile.

JJ liked Cyrus but she had a lot of questions in her mind. What was he doing? Secretly texting someone? Investigating without her help? Trying to solve something before someone else is on it?
She was on this case with him. She wanted to do this for herself and for that little child and may be something more than she could comprehend. Whatever was his rationale, JJ decided to confront him. She spun herself around, sat down and found herself face-to-face with Cyrus. There was a sparkle in JJ’s eyes and Cyrus’s were menacing with thirst. Her tattoo seized Cyrus’s attention most. He was transfixed. There was some kind of ‘Ul…
